How to Log a Migraine Entry

Got a migraine today? Log it in just a few seconds.

Today's log opens, with everything you can track.

Choose the type: with aura, without aura, tension, and more.

Mark the pain intensity on the scale.

Enter the start time and how long it lasted.

Save it, and the home screen will show today's entry.

No pain days count too: make sure to log them.

How to log your migraine symptoms and triggers

A complete log will give you more info later.

Use this button to expand all sections.

Mark the symptoms you had during the attack.

Note possible triggers, like stress or alcohol.

And what you noticed before, like the aura.

Add where you were and which activities were affected.

You can edit any log later.

Tracking and Rating Your Treatments

Record what you took for the attack in the log.

Tap the star and rate how much it helped.

Drug-free remedies like yoga also count.

With several logs, you'll see which Treatments you rated best.

Always consult your doctor about treatment changes.

Managing Calendar Entries and Adding Calendar Entries

In the Calendar, you see all your entries for the month.

Tap a day to see the details for that entry.

Change the view to two weeks or one Week.

Did you forget a day? Tap it and press 'Add entry'.

The entry is saved with that day's date.

This way, your diary stays complete even if you log it late.

Viewing Your Monthly Migraine Reports

In Reports, you'll see a summary of each month.

How many migraine days you had and what type.

The symptoms, triggers, and treatments you recorded.

And an analysis of your most frequent triggers.

Use the arrows at the top to move between months.

Reports is a MyGrain Premium feature.

Exporting and Sharing Your PDF Report

Got an appointment with your neurologist? Take your PDF report with you.

In Reports, tap the Export PDF button.

Email it, save it, or print it.

It summarizes attack types, Symptoms, Triggers, and Treatments for the month.

Take it to every appointment and don't rely on your memory.

The PDF report is a Premium feature.

How to Find Trigger Patterns in Your Diary

In Recommendations, open 'Triggers in your diary'.

MyGrain compares your Migraine days and your No pain days.

And shows you what appears most on your attack days.

It's a clue about your data, not a diagnosis.

The more days you log, with and without pain, the more reliable it will be.

Analyzing migraine trends and habits

Open Recommendations and choose the trend analysis.

See how your migraines evolve over time.

And compare frequency, duration, and intensity between months.

And which habits could help you with your triggers.

How to Log and Manage Your Medications

In Treatments, you save the medications you use.

Tap one to add it to your list.

Attack and preventive medications are listed separately.

Save, and you'll have them handy for every entry.

And when logging an attack, just check them off.

Recording what you take will only take a single tap.

Tracking Healthy Habits

Habits help you take care of yourself between attacks.

Choose the ones you want to follow, like drinking water or sleeping on time.

Press and hold the card to mark it as done today.

Follow one habit for free; with Premium, follow them all.

In Recommendations, you'll see which ones match your Triggers.

How to Manage Your Reminders and Notifications

Reminders are in Your Profile, under Notifications.

Turn on the Daily alert so you don't forget to log.

Or create your own using the Add button.

Choose if it repeats every day, Week, or month.

For example, to help you remember your preventive treatment.

And if you need some peace, you can mute them all.

Customizing Your Tracking Lists

From Your Profile, you can customize your tracking lists.

Choose which Symptoms you want to see when logging.

Missing one? Add it with an Emoji and a name.

It'll show up in your logs from now on.

Same for Triggers, Places, and activities.

Connecting Sleep and Activity Data

Connect MyGrain with Apple Health or Health Connect.

It will read your Sleep and activity, only with your permission.

Each new entry shows how you slept the night before.

And in Reports, a Summary of your Sleep and activity.

How to Access Premium Features and Reports

Managing your account and data privacy

You can use MyGrain without creating an account.

If you create one, you won't lose your diary when you change phones.

It asks for your name, email, and Password; Last name is optional.

In Data & privacy, you can withdraw your consent.

Or Clear your Account and all your data.

Your health data belongs to you.

Adding the Home Screen Widget

Keep MyGrain handy on your home screen.

On iPhone, long-press the screen, tap + and search for MyGrain.

On Android, long-press the screen, tap Widgets and choose MyGrain.

See if you had a migraine today, what type, and what you logged.

On iPhone, you can choose which icons to see.

Tap it to open today's log.

Your diary, just a tap away from your home screen.

Tracking Pressure and Medication Usage

Set Your city in Settings and every new entry will save the pressure.

In Reports, you'll see how many of your migraines coincided with low pressure.

It shows correlations, not causes or predictions.

Recommendations will alert you if you take painkillers too many days.

It counts the days per month that you take painkillers.

These alerts are Premium. They aren't a diagnosis: discuss them with your doctor.
